EE and DDD for November 29

Both kids had a time out on the couch today. It was a time out from
being grumpy and/or wild.

Notice her bug jammies? A gift for Elsabug from her nana.

EE for November 24

Elsa is learning to pick up food and feed it to herself. She often
ends up with a lap full of cheerios, but one or two make it to her
mouth!

EE November 23

Our Elsabug is a great sitter these days. She likes to sit and play
with small objects, like these kitchen toys. She often bangs two
objects together, squeals, and indicates she wants someone to sit and
play with her.

Elsa Everyday November 22

Elsa's menu for today so far: Peaches, oatmeal, and potato - leek
soup. I think she'll have sweet potatoes and chicken and apple sauce
for dinner tonight.

Exploring Blades of Grass

She explored with her eyes, her hands, and of course... her mouth!

Fall Afternoon

We went out on a chilly Sunday to enjoy the outdoors together. EK spent time on this blanket her Aunt Jessica made and wore a hat made by Great Grandma Landolt.  The blues really made her eyes pop!

.

The blades of grass were fascinating to her.  She pulled many from the ground.  She also enjoyed hooting and cooing at the clouds in the sky.

When her father appeared above her, she really started kicking and singing.  They have an obvious affection for each other!

Cute New Outfit and Practicing Sitting

Chatty Girl

If I told you that life around here was noisy, would you believe me?

Its not only the sounds of her brother singing or pounding a hammer or
making engine noises.

Usually those sounds get drowned out by this small fry's squeals,
squawls, and jabbers. She loves to hear her own voice (and we really
love hearing it, too!)

Window Gazing

Elsa really likes to look out windows. She can be in the middle of a
protest against nap time and then we pass a window and she settles
down and stares. I can tell she is thinking something when this
happens because of the intense focus.

Turkey Shirt and Small Crib

Elsa's sporting an outfit worn by her brother in November 2009. She's
also looking large in this mini crib!

Teething.

Grumpy.
Tylenol helps.  And it helps Mommy's headache.
Teething Tabs and semi-frozen fruit are helping.

No actual tooth sightings yet, just a hunch.
