EE 3-20-12

Elsa is peeking out Grandma Haid's window at her grandfather, dad, and
brother who were clearing some tree limbs from her yard.

EE 3-19-12

This photo was taken in an old schoolhouse at Shelter Gardens. It was
very echo-y inside and Elsa wanted to leave very soon after entering
it. She is very sensetive to loud noises.

EE 3-18-12

Elsa really loves being outdoors. In this photo is happy to watch her
brother throw rocks in Stephens Lake.

Elsa's Transition to Milk

I would like to terminate breastfeeding Elsa sooner than she would like, and as a result, she has something to say about it.

WAAAAAAAH, Wah.

She's now started to take whole milk, organic, cream on the top, expensive-but-cheaper-than-formula in a sip cup.  She usually finishes 6 - 8 ounces per day, and though its a month sooner than her pediatrician recommended, its how life is going to happen.

I have seen her sneak over to her brother's sip cup and guzzle down his chocolate milk.  Supposedly, she won't be able to drink from those cups until age 2.  Ha.

EE 3-16-12

Her dad and brother were busy doing yard work, and she kept her eye on
them the whole time.

EE 3-3-12

Elsa is always happier when she's out of doors.

DDD and EE for 3-2-12

Elsa and Daniel worked together picking up paper shapes to place on
their sticky window. They didn't fight over the same piece, which is
rare.

EE 3-1-12

She has taken to looking out the window, which adds about ten minutes
onto the time it takes to feed both kids lunch, which is ridiculously
long half hour.

EE 2-29-12

Elsa has been using a sip cup with confidence this month, and she
loves being self sufficient.

EE 2-28-12

Grandma Douglas made this dress for Elsa, and it suits her complexion and eyes.

EE 2-26-12

I curl my toes, my mom and sisters curl their toes, and Elsa does, too.

EE 2-27-12

EE 2-25-12

This dress was worn by me, my sisters Jessica and Rachel, and my
cousin Holly. My Aunt Carla returned it to me for Elsa to wear.

EE 2-25-12

Elsa touches most everything like this - with a careful point, and
then touching with her index finger and thumb.

EE 2-24-12

Our wonderful baby, soft, gentle, and perfect.

EE 2-24-12

This is her lady bug dress from her friends Charlotte and Emma. She
wil probably wear this on her first birthday in six weeks!

EE 2-23-12

Elsa often wants to stand up in the bath, so we say, "Sit down,
Elsie!" for most of the bath time. She laughs, sits, and stands up
again.

EE 2-22-12

This will be Elsa's Easter dress.

DDD and EE from 2-21-12

Both kids enjoy sitting in Elsa's play yard. Daniel can climb in and
out by himself.
