Pok!!

Elsa asks to go to he park each day. She got her wish today! She also swiped my ice tea and sunglasses. Yes, there is a homeless person on the park bench behind her, but that is not typical of our park-play.

Sticker Foot

This activity kept her occupied while her brother and I wrote thank you notes.

Hermann Visit

This weekend we took a trip to visit Daddy's family.

Elsa enjoyed her time there because she loves to be with her grandparents. She took a gator ride to the creek with her brother, dad, and grandpa. She tried hard to take a nap, but broke part of the crib her grandpa made 32 years ago. Oops! Se enjoyed the foods grandma Becky made, especially the angel food cake with concrete icing. She visited both great grandmas and got reacquainted with Uncle Larry/Cookie/Boo Boo. He fed her little bites of her supper and made her giggle.

She fell asleep nearly as soon as we left the city limit sign! It was a good and busy day.

Getting Ready

Elsa loves to get ready with make up, deodorant, teeth brushing, sunscreen, hair spray, and jewelry.

This weekend my mom and sisters came to my house for family photos and we all got camera ready together. Elsa went from lady to lady getting dolled up. She had powders, shadow, polish, and gloss, and she was so happy.

Still a Crib Sleeper

And she seems okay with it.
And she can nimbly climb in and out.

Always sleeps with Wankie/Lankie blanket and takes it everywhere.

Wants her doll with hair to be in her bed.
Reads books in bed.
Sleeps with two colored wall lights on that she calls pink flower and yow flower.
Has Norah Jones playing on a loops all day long. Calls her Jones, mommy Jones, and Ms Noah Jones.

Two Years, Two Weeks Old

She has had a rough week of allergies/snottiness and some serious whiny and high volume boohoos.

She has had some serious park play.

She has enjoyed books, singing, running in circles with brother, and making brother laugh.

We have noticed that she looks a little bit like my aunt Sandy. She doesn't want to be called any name but Elsa or Kate though.

She really wants to go to preschool next year with Daniel.

She has quit the bottle per my decision a week ago. Her soy milk consumption is basically zero now.

She has been being rough with the baby and rough house ing with Daniel and daddy.

I enjoyed a half hour cuddle time one morning with her.

She tells me she is three.

She tells me she wants paper diapers not potty training, but can use toilet on command and never takes off cloth

She is getting sillier and sweeter each day, and really displaying her intelligence as her vocabulary grows and she is able to communicate and explain her ideas.
