I really like these photos of you because you are still, calm, and mostly unaware of the camera.  Your calm demeanor is how you spend half of your day - the other half is spent squealing and being peppy.

You ARE, in fact, wearing a shirt that belonged to your brother.  Its soft and a great shirt for you, but if you wear it out, its with a skirt or prominent hair bow.  Or your pink sparkle shoes from Aunt Rachie.  Don't worry, you don't look like a boy!

She Looks Just Like YOU!

Today a complete stranger told me that we look alike.
Exactly alike!
So of course this made my day.

You see, your brother and your dad get the same thing all the time.  Like every day, for the last 30 months. It gets old.

But its never old hearing that you and I look alike!
My self confidence is boosted because you are so pretty that if I am feeling unattractive or just blah and someone says how lovely you are, I feel that I must be half as lovely as you, since you are half of my DNA.

More From Meal Time!

Elsa was being quite the ham during this afternoon. I had to keep taking photos of her expressions!  Her brother was asleep, so she had my full attention for hours.  She also had sweet potatoes, so with a full belly and all my focus, she was very content.

Babbling and Some Messy Face Photos

Elsa, you are babbling!  Its official.  You are technically Blah-ba-bab-ing, because those are the noises you make.  When you are happy, you talk and talk!  When you are bored or in a lull, you are silent, but you try to get someone's attention so you can talk to him or her. You especially like to talk to your mom and brother! You've never talked to strangers and are not very open to greeting new faces/uncommon faces with high spirits.  You do have eyes for your brother and are delighted when he dotes on you.  You also enjoy as much face to face, one on one time with your mom as you can get, and you stop everything to find your father in the room when you hear his voice.

You love to gab to us, and we love it right back!
