DDD and EE for January 2, 2012

The kids wore these clothes to church on Sunday. They were tired kids
in church nursery and needed their nap by 10 AM.

DDD and EE for January 1, 2012

These two really get a kick out of Mickey Mouse. We didn't realize
Elsa knew who he was since Daniel usually watches the cartoon during
her morning nap. We learned that she thinks he's hilarious and loves
any Mickey logo she sees. Her reaction made Daniel enjoy the show even
more!

She's doing a lot of gnawing these days.

Elsa Everday 12-30-11

Elsa needed to stay in her crib for a bit while I vacuumed. She had
some company- a glow in the dark seahorse (gift from Aunt Jessica and
Uncle Rob), the aquarium crib soother (which was Daniel's from Great
Grandma Haid), her sock bunny (from Ann), and her brother's baby doll
(which he has kindly given to her).

The nickname is sticking. I am not sure that she'll love being called
a bug for much longer, but for now, it works.

Failed Attempt to Photograph the New Teeth...

I've been trying for a week with little success at photographing her
new bottom teeth. One is a few days ahead of the other in terms of
age, but both are now visible! Every time I see her showing off those
teeth and grab the camera, she purses her lips. I guess she wants to
keep this update private!

Cup Game

Elsa's favorite toys lately have been these little stacking cups. She
often whacks two of them together or taps them on her high chair tray.
She loves to yell or whisper into the cups to hear her voice echo.
On this particular day, she was being very noisy and woke her brother
Daniel up from his nap. "QUIET! Elsa buggy stop tapping cup!!!!", he
hollered at her. She just laughed and was happy he was up to play
with her.
