Tonight we took a family walk on a trail/path that goes through a woodland, flood plain, and includes several nice bridges. Elsa was practically climbing out of the stroller at each bridge, and on the way back we stopped at one of the bridges and let her walk on it. She had a blast. She was jumping, dancing, squealing, shrieking, smilings, banging rocks against the metal railings, tossing rocks over the rail, trying to climb the rails, peeking through them, pointing to the rocks and trees and creek and singing their praises.
She was the most excited I've ever seen her.
She was completely unglued and did so much bridge celebrating that she wore herself out and even condescended herself to a stroller ride for the ride back to our Jeep, whereas she fussed about being inside the stroller instead of walking on the gravel path like an adult just fifteen minutes before.
