EE and DDD for November 16

Elsa and I went to wake Daniel this morning. He request she cuddle in
the bed with him, and she gladly did it. He snuggled and tickled her,
and she tried to steal his binky and squealed in delight.

More Milestones: 6 Months

Elsa is moving and wiggling more each day.  She's not rolling much, which is what most babies do around this time.  Instead, she's lifting her bottom and digging her heels in the floor to push backwards.  She can travel some distance, and recently scootched almost off our bed this way!  She also is using her hands to paw around when she's on her belly, usually just turning, not really crawling anywhere.

Her balance has improved in the last week, so she's sitting pretty well now unassisted.  Its impressive that seven days ago she couldn't do this by herself at all!

I'm yelling and singing and banging these colorful balls.

Milestone: Communication

Elsa makes clicking and sucking noises when I ask her if she wants to nurse.  When we ask if she wants to eat she makes thirsty, happy coughing/panting noises.  When its time for sleeping and I lay her down and say, "Night night baby", she always sucks her thumb and looks away, showing me her cheek for a kiss.

She also is getting good at "hollering" from another room to get attention.

Milestone: Bouncing

Elsa has started to pounce and jump herself when she's in a good mood and sitting in her high chair, bouncy chair, or saucer.  She also shouts a happy yell and smiles while she's doing it.  I am excited to get a jumperoo for her!
