Spring Weather + Park Time= Happy Elsie
This park is easily Daniel's favorite place in Columbia. He calls it Telescope Park. Elsa likes it because there are Swings, which is all it takes to make a place her new favorite place. This weekend in Early March Nana came with us and we had a great time.

Tickle Time with Grandma Nana
Oh what fun we have with you! You love to be tickled and loved on!
These photos are taken on your first Thanksgiving 2011 at your Douglas Grandparents' dining room table, just before we enjoyed a delicious meal.

Napping in the Sun, 4 Weeks
Here you are, one month old and napping in your moses basket bed. The sun was not shining on you when I put you down for the nap, but was when I came in later. You looked radiant in the sun! You are wearing a beautiful terry cloth sleeper from your Nana. She bought it for you when you were 2 weeks old because you were too small for all the sleepers we had. Then at 3 weeks when we visited her and you wore this, you had a growth spurt and suddenly out grew the sleeper! This was the last time you wore it, after only three or four times.
You make many faces when you sleep. Its super cute.
Sometimes you frown in your sleep and look worried.
Other times you are so peaceful looking, like Sleeping Beauty.

At Nana's Retirement Dinner
In early May, we went to a dinner to honor Nana who retired this year from teaching.
I dressed you fancy,
You hated the hat. I didn't like it either, but it was fun for a few minutes for photos!
At the dinner, people still asked if you were male or female, despite the obvious. Frilly dress = girl, right?
With Aunt Jessica
With your mom's family
Maybe you'll have red hair one day, too.
Grandpa gave Nana a lovely diamond ring as a congratulations present. Everyone was surprised and impressed.
Nana's coworkers who came to support her.
Isn't she pretty?
