To tell the truth, I don't think I remember this milestone from DHH's babyhood. Perhaps he didn't do this milestone! But then, he can't be nearly two and not have found his hands. And yet, I am pretty darn sure he didn't do this!
EK purposefully moves hands to her face and she sucks on them, noisily. Usually this means she is hungry! To accomplish this feat, she must punch up and out of her swaddle (I admit to swaddling ineffectively the first few days of her new trick so I could see it!).
Here's a little video I took of this. There is a noticeable lack of toddler here because DHH was at my parents' home.
