Smiling in the Sunshine
You are eleven weeks old in these pictures, and you are wearing my favorite jammies in size 3 months. Grandma Becky is up for a visit, and she and Daniel take turns making you giggle.

More Proof Daniel Loves You (And Loves ON You).
Daniel gives you so much love every day.
He rubs his cheeks on your head, and that is what he calls giving you a kiss.
He says, "UMMMM Muh!" while he does it.
You tolerate this affection, but you do not really return it.
You will one day, though.
You are his Elsie-sissy, Elsiebuggie, and Buggy.
It makes me so happy to see him smiling at you and appreciating you.
He pretends you are kissing him back by making noises from you towards him. In these photos, you are kissing him, even though its his lips on your hands!
I think you appreciate the extra affection, dear.
I hope you two are always affectionate towards each other, perhaps less physically than in these photos, but at least verbally.

Grasping
This is the first time you held a toy.
We noticed your hands were unclenched and your fingers were flexing.
We let you explore your hands more with this ring of plastic keys.
It might have been a more fun experience for your parents than it was for you! We were so excited about this developmental milestone for you.
Maybe if we had better toys than this silly ring of keys that unlocks nothing you would be more jazzed about it, too!
