Elsa's Second Easter

These photos were taken on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012. Elsa was born six days before Easter last year when it fell on April 24, 2011.

Her Easter basket contained her first tiny stuffed animal, and actually the first toy she ever picked out for herself.  It was a soft, tiny Mickey Mouse.  She cuddled it and kissed it at the store, so I thought she should probably keep it.

She also had three small boats in her basket. She graciously shares them with Daniel for bath.

This photo was right before church.
It was 40 degrees, so she needed a hat and cardigan.

This photo was taken at church.  She took a nap through the last half of the sermon, and she danced in the aisle during the rest of the time.  She entertained the girls behind us and loved singing.

The following photos were taken just after we got home from church.  She was a good sport at first, but she got sadder and more in need of a nap.

I bought her Easter dress last year at this time, hoping it would fit in on year.  At the time, it seemed so enormous.  If fits just fine right now, and its such a fun party dress!

A strawberry ice cream and soy milkshake.
She loved it and had so much fun drinking it, but had a very rough night with belly pains as a consequence of the dairy in the ice cream.  Such a bummer.

She needed a bath after the milkshake, so we put the Easter eggs into the tub for the children.
